Northwood FC Awards 2011
Scott Raper is named Supporters' Player of the Year
The club's awards and presentations event was held in the clubhouse on Saturday 14th May, and a good evening was enjoyed by all. The top award, the Supporters' Player of the Year, went to the reliable Scott Raper in his first season at the club. Scott Orphanou's thirteen goals earned him the Top Goalscorer trophy for the second year running, whilst Romaine Walker's strike against Ashford Town (Middx) earned him Goal of the Season. Mark Burgess received a Special Award to recognise his efforts during a difficult season, including helping with training and matchday duties, whilst Reece Fallon was named Most Promising Player. Reserves Player of the Year went to Jamie Lindsay, Romaine Walker received the Youth Team Manager's Award, and the Youth Players' Player Award went to Dwayne Cole-Parkes. Wayne Whittingham received the Ted Tucker Award, given for services to youth football at the club. The Clubman of the Year prize went to club photographer James Brown, and Ian Barry's Chairman's Award was won by Richard Elderfield. Many thanks to Ian Barry and Alan Evans, who did a great job in organising and running the event.
