Awards Night 2008
Three awards for Bradley Hewitt
Bradley Hewitt swept the board of the main awards at the club's 2008 Presentation Dinner. The central defender has had a great season, and he collected the Supporters' Player of the Year, the Players' Player of the Year, and the Manager's Player of the Year trophies at the annual event, held once again at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Bushey, on 2nd May. Elliott Buchanan enjoyed a great first half of the season, which earned him a move to Stevenage Borough, and his 23 goals won him the Golden Boot award. On-loan keeper Mitch Swain made a big impression on the Woods' supporters, who voted him their Player of the Year runner-up. John Christian did very well since joining the club from Ruislip Manor, and he won the Most Promising Player award, whilst goalkeeper Simon Dean was named Reserves Player of the Year. Many thanks to Marie Scott, who as usual did a superb job in organising the evening. |
