There have been some improved results for the Under-18s recently, and they went really close to reaching the semi-finals of the Middlesex Senior Youth Cup against Uxbridge.

Their opponents had previously beaten the Woods three times this season so it was always going to be a tough test, but a goal from Will Robinson put them ahead, and it was only in the last fifteen minutes that Uxbridge pulled level.

Injuries took their toll and it was a matter of holding on for penalties but then the visitors notched a last-gasp winner to go through.
