This game will be remembered for one thing and one thing only. The constant complaining to the referee. Throughout the match from the very onset the Camberley players gave the young female referee Debbie Hartley an evening to forget. Debbie would be the first to admit that on the evening she got things wrong but the constant call of "Ref" would probably still be ringing in most people's ears the next morning.

Camberley arrived at Chestnut Avenue on the back of a 13-1 defeat at the hands of Colchester United in the FA Youth Cup 1st Round Proper and were aggressive from the start.

Northwood started well and should have scored early on when Matt Cooper hit a post. How costly this miss would prove as in the 8th minute Camberley were, in many people’s eyes, awarded a penalty which at best was dubious.

The pattern was now set for the match. Constant moaning and tackles that were quite frankly at times nothing short of horrific.
At half time the management team for Camberley treated the whole clubhouse to the rollicking given to the players, and it clearly worked as they came out even more fired up and scored two goals within the first ten minutes.

At 3-0 down Woods could have rolled over but they didn't, and instead battled hard to the end. Michael Elderfield was particularly unlucky with one speedy run.

I thought our team were terrific in this game. Well done boys!
