Seven more Northwood signings
Northwood secretary Alan Evans continues to be kept busy, and we have news of seven more signings for the squad to bring you!
It is good news that several of last season’s Middlesex County Under 18 Cup finalists have signed Bostik League forms, three of whom gained first team experience towards the end of the campaign. Femi Azeez, Jamie Fulton, Connor Maher, Kyran Worrell plus Ben Dufaux are all still eligible for the Under 18s in the new season, and have impressed manager Dean Barker in training.
Also signing this week were defender Sam Jenkins, who will be an excellent addition to the squad, having been part of the successful Harpenden Town FC side which just missed out on promotion last term.
Completing the septet is goalkeeper Sam Mazurek; the former Windsor & Eton, Uxbridge and Leighton Town player will be used as a back-up keeper in addition to his role as one of the goalkeeping coaches at the club this season.
Check out the squad as it looks so far here - and you are welcome to take the opportunity to sponsor your new favourite player using the PayPal link!

Woods salute the 150+ Men
Back in 1970 Northwood moved up from local junior football to join the Middlesex League. Since that time, a total of 985 players have worn the Woods' colours in competitive matches - so number 1,000 is likely to occur early in the new season!
Of the 985 players, 41 have shown the loyalty to the club to make at least 150 Northwood appearances. At next week's official clubhouse opening, the club will present to each of these players a Gold Club 150 season ticket that will entitle them to free admission to league matches for the next three years. And on this website we salute them all here!!
