EXTRA TIME IN CUP
NORTHWOOD 3  PERIVALE 1

Northwood, as expected, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Harrow and Wembley League Senior Cup with a  3-1 win over Perivale, but only after extra time.

Northwood were without skipper Brown, whose car broke down, and Kaufman took his place.

Dodd put Northwood ahead but Perivale equalised, and then lost their keeper with a dislocated finger.

Brown came on for extra time, when winger Horsford found his form, and scored two goals to take Northwood through.
