Chico joined the club as part of Manny Williams' management team in June 2026.

He has vast experience behind him, with spells at Belenenses, Benfica and Amora as a young goalkeeper in Portugal before coming to the UK and playing for Maidenhead United, Yeovil Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Dulwich Hamlet and Walthamstow amongst others.

Now 42, Chico has since coached and managed and assisted at a variety of clubs including a spell in charge at Arlesey Town.
