Against Hayes & Yeading, the Northwood youngsters were cut open several times early on, and the visitors raced into a 5-0 lead.
But step forward defender and skipper Lewis Batten - the youngster who has deservedly earned call-ups to the first team squad - who
then bagged two headers and a penalty to complete an unlikely hat-trick in the final fifteen minutes, and a 3-5 scoreline that was a lot more respectable.
