Northwood started this game at a good pace, but were undone after nine minutes with a ball straight over the top of the defence and a Camberley forward ran in to slot it away.
However, just two minutes later Lamin Cole put a great ball across the box to Callum Wright, who was scythed down in the area and a penalty was awarded to Northwood. It's not ofter than being awarded a penalty can change the face of the game for the worst but.......
Cole stepped up and took the penalty but it was saved and then spilled by the goalkeeper. Cole reacted first to run in for the rebound and kicked the ball but also caught the keeper as well. Unfortunately the referee decided this was to be a straight red card.
With only 10 men after just 11 minutes this was always going to be an uphill battle, and Northwood ended up being 3-0 down at half-time as the home side controlled the match.
Alex Delasalle and Michael Elderfield came on as substitutes early in the second half and, with the rest of the Northwood team, they battled right to the final whistle. Camberley found it more difficult to handle the ten men of Northwood as they pressed and pressed to get a consolation goal they deserved but it never quite arrived.
Then, with just five minutes to go, Camberley caught Northwood on the break and round off the scoring with a fourth goal.
