Kernow 8 Cascadia 1

Kernow ran out 8-1 winners against Cascadia in their international exhibition match at the Fenton Civil Engineering Stadium.

It was a fixture between two sides who are part of CONIFA, the non-FIFA aligned football organisation. Cascadia defines the Pacific Northwest of the United States and Canada incorporating British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, parts of Idaho, southern Alaska and northern California, while Kernow represent Cornwall.

Our photographer James Brown - whose shots appear below - commented after the game: "this was a very dominant performance from Kernow who won 8-1, showing immense quality. Cascadia showed glimpses of quality but lacked match fitness in the second half."
