Midfielder

One of a new group of players who came to the club in the summer of 1988, Steve had previously played for Hillingdon Borough, Uxbridge and Harrow Borough. He started off in central defence but graduated into a ball-winning midfield player, good in the air and with an eye for a spectacular goal.

A knee injury in 1990, having been a member of the League Cup winning side, ruled Steve out for quite some time but he did later play for the reserves and, fleetingly, for a two-game first-team spell once again in 1995.
