The great Emem Udaw joined the Woods in December 1998, having played previously at Chertsey Town. He only ever played about an hour's Ryman football for Northwood and we lost every game he was involved in, proving he was not the answer to the club's defensive problems at the time. Emem was later seen playing at Hanwell Town.
