Mark
was a local lad who came through the club’s
youth ranks. He
was a member
of the Northwood Sunday side, and made occasional
appearances for the first-team between
1979
and 1981, when he left to link up with Rayners
Lane. He then returned to the line-up in
1985, winning a more regular place up front,
once bagging a hat-trick in a League Cup win
over Catford Wanderers.
He
departed once more but then started a third spell in
1988, often coming on from the bench, before
making his final appearances in 1990.
