Rogie was a much-admired midfield player with Cheshunt before Alan Merison captured his signature to join the Woods in March 1991, making his debut at home to Corinthian Casuals. He proved a big hit with the Chestnut Avenue faithful as he became the driving force from the central midfield area, scoring plenty of goals, especially in our first season in the Isthmian League.

Having moved to East London, he left in 1993 but soon returned to complete another spell which ended the following summer. He is now assistant manager at Romford.
