Apart from a short
spell at Chalfont St Peter, Greg spent seven
seasons at the club after joining from Wembley
in April 1989, and played a vital part of the
club's rise from the London Spartan League. A
midfield player with an eye for a goal, he was
also the dead-ball specialist, bagging over 20
goals in one season for the Woods.
Greg played for
Southall after leaving the club and continued to
play at junior level for many years before his
knees gave way.
