Warren was 20 when he got a run-out for the first team in our 1992 title-chasing side; he ended up playing sixteen league matches for the club and scored sixteen goals, including all five in a 5-0 demolition of North Greenford United, who had current Woods’ Chairman Ian Barry in goal!!

He also gained nine England semi-pro international caps. He finished his career with a handful of games back at Northwood in 2004, scoring one more goal for "old-times' sake" at Leyton.
