Defender who came through the youth ranks at the club to make his debut in February 1993, having also played for Chelsea's youth and reserve teams. Was ever-present until taking a place at Nottingham University but then returned to the club for a short spell six years later.

John took up coaching and also had a short spell coaching the Woods Under 18s in recent seasons.
