Terry was thought to be a valuable signing, joining Woods in December 1999 from Wealdstone, where he had been a high-scoring midfield player.

Although he eventually played 29 Isthmian games for the Woods, scoring four goals, his fitness was never at its best and he moved onto Brook House.
