Steve came to Northwood late in his non-League
career, which had seen him turn out for
Uxbridge, Egham Town, Chalfont St. Peter,
Ruislip Manor, Brook House, Tring Town and
Beaconsfield Sycob but it was with the Woods
that his goalscoring prowess finally got him
noticed.
His partnership with Lawrence Yaku in 2000/01
brought almost 90 league and cup goals between
them with Steve netting 37. But he was then
recruited by Hayes to play in the Conference and
had spells with Maidenhead United and Slough
Town before rejoining the Woods. He had a spell coaching at
Flackwell Heath before becoming assistant manager
at Burnham, and then was appointed manager at Hillingdon Borough. Steve was Woods manager from December 2010 to March 2011, during which time he made two additional appearances.
