Steve came to Northwood late in his non-League career, which had seen him turn out for Uxbridge, Egham Town, Chalfont St. Peter, Ruislip Manor, Brook House, Tring Town and Beaconsfield Sycob but it was with the Woods that his goalscoring prowess finally got him noticed.

Joining in March 2000, he scored the only goal of the game on his debut at home to Marlow and he was never on the losing side as we stormed to promotion from the Isthmian League Division Two. His partnership with Lawrence Yaku in 2000/01 brought almost 90 league and cup goals between them with Steve netting 37. But he was then recruited by Hayes to play in the Conference and had spells with Maidenhead United and Slough Town before finding his way back to Chestnut Avenue to play a part in our Isthmian Premier Division adventure. Recently had a spell coaching at Flackwell Heath.
