One of the true
legends of Northwood Football Club. Gary had
various spells at the club as he flirted with the
chance of a professional career - nearly being
taken on at Southampton. Unfortunately his love of
life inhibited his dedication to the rigours of
the pro game.
He was a product of
Woods' youth set-up and was a very talented
striker, having spells with other local clubs
including Harefield and Edgware but always
returning "home".
Gary played for
Northwood Vets for many years, but was tragically
taken from us while only in his mid-forties.
