Matt was a tall defender, one of John Walsh’s players who came with him from Hertford Town in 1994 at the age of 21. He enjoyed a solid first season, once having to don the goalkeeper’s jersey after an injury, something he had done as a YTS player at Millwall in previous years.

Matt left with Walsh in November 2005 and went on to play for Cheshunt and Ware, where he is now enjoying a coaching role. DOB 8/1/73.
