Having lost home advantage following two postponed ties at the Skyline, the Woods pushed Bedfont all the way in this close-fought cup semi-final.
Jeremy Scholz was again on target after just five minutes of the game to give his side a flying start but our opponents managed to level with 20 minutes on the clock.
And that’s the way it stayed for the remainder of the game meaning it would be penalties to decide who made the final.
There was just one save as the Sports keeper pushed a Ben Crowder spot-kick onto the post and out, so despite successful strikes from Joe Reade, Alex Grant and Liam Osborne, it was Bedfont who moved into the final, winning 5-3 on penalties.
