Darren Wood had a couple of successful years playing for Northwood reserves but never quite bridged the gap into the first team. Having made his debut in a difficult FA Cup tie against Dulwich Hamlet, he played five Isthmian games for the Woods and did score one goal, a last minute strike at Leighton Town.
