Defender who was at Reading as a youngster and made three appearances for the QPR youth team in the spring of 2003. Adam then played for Yeading before joining Farnborough Town in March 2004. He made almost 80 appearances for the Hampshire club but injuries prevented him from holding a place in the side in 2006/07, and he was released from his contract in the summer following the club's liquidation.

Adam joined the Woods in August 2007, but left in March 2008, linking up with Farnborough.
