Vic played for the Woods in the mid-1980s but left to earn fame and fortune at Yeading, where he was a member of the Vase winning side. He then returned to the club in 1992 to play in our first couple of seasons of Isthmian football.

Two things stand out as unique abut Vic. One was that he was the only non-League player that has been seen who can jump high and then seem to float in the air for a considerable period of time. Secondly, he was also the only non­League player known at this level to always have a couple of pints of lager just before a game .... every game.

At the age of 41 he was still knocking in the goals for North Greenford United in the Middlesex County League.
