Chris was a prolific goalscorer in his one and a half seasons at Northwood, before moving on to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he scored 44 goals in 98 Conference games. He spent six months in League One with Brentford (20 games, 2 goals), before returning to the Daggers, by then in League Two, managing six goals in 47 games.

2008-09 saw Chris join Chelmsford City, newly promoted to Conference South.
