Steve quickly became the lynch-pin of the Woods' midfield after signing from Uxbridge in the summer of 1993. A vastly-experienced player, Steve had seen service at Hounslow, Yeading, Molesey, Edgware Town, QPR, Blackpool, St Albans City and Egham Town, picking up an FA Vase winners medal while at Yeading.

He played the one season for the club before retiring.
