The Woods notched their fourth successive Allied Counties League victory when they defeated Beaconsfield Town 3-0.

There was a return to the starting line-up for the first time this season for skipper Joe Reade, now recovered from injury while Max Lousley also started for the first time.

And, after an even start to the first-half, the Woods gradually got on top and it was Lousley that got on the end of a corner that dropped into the box to fire home from close range after thirty five minutes. It gave Northwood a deserved half-time lead.

After the interval, again the visitors showed good battling and the Woods needed a second goal to see them off. That came via substitute Tom Reid who netted with a superb individual goal, slotting home after a mazy run through the defence.

The third goal came when Fabjan Toci was put through one-on-one with the keeper and he showed great composure to fire home. It completed a well-deserved victory and put the side four points clear at the top of the East Division table.
