The Under 18s had gone seven weeks without a fixture when they returned to action with an away game on the 3G at Beaconsfield Town – their first away match since the opening day of the Allied Counties Youth League season!
Ultimately it proved successful though the side showed their rustiness during a first-half that saw several chances come and go. But the side kept at it after the break and eventually took a deserved lead after 65 minutes when some good work led to Tom Reid breaking through the defence and slotting home.
Ten minutes later, a similar build-up created a good chance which Sarin Thapa tucked home and the Woods completed a double over the Rams who are currently bottom of the East Division table.
