It was the annual Woods presentation and awards ceremony on Saturday evening in @TheWoods, the NFC Clubhouse, and a wonderful night was had by all!

Dan Campbell from C & G Scaffolding Ltd very kindly sponsored the event and we were also joined by Chris Byron-Cooper and Vanessa from club sponsors Silver Glass Company Ltd, as well as Billy from Carcharias Creative.

Kofi Anokye-Boadi swept the board by winning the Managers’, Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Season awards – so very well deserved for his consistent displays, and he also finished second highest scorer with 14 goals.

Dan Williams won the Golden Boot with an excellent return of 17 goals. Harry Gallagher retained his Goal of the Season trophy with his brilliant free kick against Cray Valley PM in the FA Cup – pretty good for a central defender to win best goal two years running! And Harry McKenna was named Young Player of the Year!

In the successful Allied Counties League Under 18s squad, Jeremy Scholz claimed both the Managers’ and Players’ Player of the Season. Alex Grant won the Woods Under 18s goal of the season award with his strike in the League Cup win against Thatcham Town.

On to the club awards, and Dave Kelly was presented with the Clubman of the Year trophy in recognition of his tremendous amount of hard work around the club.

A well-deserved Supporter of the Year award went to Sean Moore, our PA announcer, whilst John Joyce’s excellent efforts were recognised by Ian Barry with his Chairman's Award.

All in all, a terrific evening!
