Dear Supporter,
Firstly, I welcome you to Northwood Football Club
(NFC). It may be that this is your first season at the club or by now you may
have been here for many years. Whichever applies to you, the club really needs
your support to continue to provide Youth, Ladies and Senior football and as
such, remain an integral part of the Community.
Northwood Football Club has progressed remarkably
well in recent years and can now boast 25 teams. We have been awarded FA
Community Club status, with the first team competing in the Ryman League. The
Club runs three senior sides, seventeen youth sides and five women’s sides.
In recent years, we have run a fund-raising scheme
called ‘Team Northwood’ whereby individuals and businesses pay an amount of
money into the club on a weekly or monthly basis and twice a month, we draw out
winners who receive cash prizes. Sadly, the numbers have fallen of late so I am
now re-launching the scheme, but with a few differences.
Basically, we are selling ‘shares’ with a minimum
purchase of 1 share that will cost £5 per week for a full year. Each share will
give you a unique number that will be entered into our monthly draw. The more
shares that you buy, the better chance you have of winning and in return for
your investment, we will also link this with additional benefits; such as free
season tickets, Matchday Magazines and your own chance to appear in the NFC
award-winning Matchday Magazine.
Listed below are the benefits you can receive from
joining the scheme, whilst not forgetting that your valuable help will go a long
way towards maintaining the status that we currently enjoy, which should give
you great personal satisfaction.
1 share = ½
price season ticket, 1 entry into the monthly draw and a 10% discount on club

2 shares =
1 free season ticket, 2 entries into the monthly draw, a 10% discount on club
shop purchases, and a ticket to the NFC Presentation Night at the end of the
season, including your chance to present an award. And more…see later in this
letter.
3 shares =
2 free season tickets, 2 free Matchday Magazines*, 4 entries into the monthly
draw, a 15% discount on club shop purchases, a ½ page advertisement in the
Matchday Magazine (for businesses), and 2 tickets to the NFC Presentation Night,
including your chance to present an award. And more….see later in this letter.
4 shares =
4 free season tickets, 4 free Matchday Magazines*, 6 entries into the monthly
draw, a full page advertisement in the Matchday Magazine (for businesses),
vouchers for 4 drinks from the Clubhouse Bar for each first team home game, a
table for 4 people at the NFC Presentation Night, including your chance to
present an award, free coach travel to away games (where applicable), and in
addition, two tickets for a Sporting Event from any one of the following
(subject to availability): a Chelsea FC home game, Wimbledon tennis Centre
Court, or an England international at Wembley. And even more….see below!!
Business Packages are available for 5 shares or
more. Prices are negotiable and inclusive of all that applies to 4 shares
(above), plus optional extras. Details can be finalised by contacting myself

*At all NFC 1st team games, when Magazine is
published, upon presentation of your Team Northwood Membership Card at the
turnstile.
The club will pay back into the prize draw 20% of
all proceeds, and I am anticipating that there will be over £1,000 per month to
be won. Details of prizes can be found at the club’s official website,
www.northwoodfc.com, as soon as all applications are received and processed.
Current subscribers to Team Northwood will remain
in the draw, subject of course to ongoing subscriptions, and will be allocated 1
share.
EXTRA BENEFITS FOR ALL:
All subscribers with an e-mail address will get an exclusive monthly e-mail
highlighting all the happenings around the club. Your name will also appear on a
Sponsors Page in the Matchday Magazine, with the chance to be the featured
Sponsor of the Week together with your photo. You will also be invited to attend
a Sponsors Evening at the Clubhouse at least once a year, at which there will be
free food, entertainment and refreshments.
Payments can be made by a number of different
methods: Bank Standing Order (preferred option - mandate with application form,
see link below), cash (paid at Clubhouse Bar), or through the Paypal service on
the website.
