PLAYER PROFILES 2007-08
Troy Roach - Goalkeeper
"The honey monster" joined us mid-season and has made a big impact. How can
anyone that big be only 15??? All the attributes to develop into a top
keeper. Currently on trial with Leyton Orient.
Dan Power - Right Back
Strong, powerful no nonsense defender who loves to get forward. Always got
something to say, but sadly a pork pie short of a picnic when it comes to
intellectual matters.
Frank Lynam - Left Back
Knee high to a grasshopper but what Frank lacks in height he makes up for in
heart/spirit. Punches way above his body weight!
Jamie Tompkins - Centre Back
Mr. Consistent. No nonsense, no frills, goes about his business in quite but
affective manner. Excellent attitude. Will go on to play at a higher level.

Nick Glenday - Centre Back
Top defender and team captain who leads by example. Honest player who always
gives you 100%.
Aiden Lynam – Midfield
Makes up other half of the Lynam twins. Strong on the ball. Very direct-
always looking to run at defenders from deep. Aide - just remember to stop
at the white line!!
Tyrone Durrant – Midfield
Rock in the middle of the park. Big, strong, wins his headers and tackles
then gives it to others who can actually play football!! Only joking Ty. So
laid back he's almost horizontal.
Scott Purdue – Midfield
Power house in the middle of the park. Strong personality, great engine,
covers every blade of grass. A real winner but can a bit emotional at times!

Jake O'Meara – Forward
"Sick note" spent more time in the physio room than on the pitch! When in
action is a "class act" Will go on to play at a higher level.
Aryan Tajbakhsh - Forward/Midfield
Pound for pound the most skilful player in the squad – arrogant and cocky
but a real match winner (when he remembers to pass to his team mates!).

Jack Bennett – Midfield
Top professional, top attitude, top commitment, top work ethic. First name
on the team sheet (when available!). Left foot to die for. Excellent
delivery from wide areas /set pieces. All round good bloke (and a right
brown nose!). Middlesex County U18 representative honours and first team

Sam Holland – Midfield
"Rolls Royce" of a player. Silky skills, good pace, excellent delivery from
wide. Sadly deprived of a cup final appearance due to recent broken leg
whilst playing for our Allied’s. We all wish you a speedy recovery Sam.
Courtney Francis – Forward
"Pace and Power" - very direct and causes problems in behind. Another laid
back character that sometimes needs a rocket up his arsenal to get him
going!!!!
Elliot Gibbs – Defender
Tall, elegant defender in the "Beckenbauer' mould. When he's not studying, a
real asset and definitely one for the future.
Luke Aldridge – Forward
Limited opportunities this year but excellent attitude : he never complains,
works hard and gets on with it. Confident player who like all good strikers
needs goals.
Edward Hatcher – Defender
Youngest
member of the squad, hence limited number of opportunities this season.
Definitely one for the future. Strong natural defender with excellent
distribution. Middlesex County U16 representative honours as captain this
season.
Ollie Wright – Midfield
Midfield dynamo, a skilful footballer with bags of running. Limited
opportunities this year but demonstrated good attitude and has been patient
in waiting for recent opportunities where he has shone. Key member of squad
going forward into next season.
Chris Michael – Midfield
Neat and tidy footballer with bags of ability. Superb attitude despite
limited opportunities. Good experience gained going into next season.
Dan Billington – Midfield
A late addition to the squad, a skilful midfielder with an eye for a pass.
Limited opportunities but good experience gained to take into next season.
Will Hudson – Midfield
Another late addition to the squad whom we anticipate having a big impact
next season. Strong powerful and competitive central midfielder.
